Suki

Suki is a Palamut Pooches classic — together with her ten puppies, she was our first rescue when we moved permanently to Turkey, in October 2019. Suki was the super skinny mommy that'd hid her 10 babies in the Saklikent area, trying to feed them and keep them safe even though she wasn't herself. Sara was lucky to gain her trust and be taken to the hidden spot!

Suki has the most gentle paw to ask for attention 🥰 She used to live in the cottage where some of our volunteers stay and, together with her daughter Sox, was well known for... politely inviting themselves to their rooms to lie on their bed and, if lucky, get a nap together. They're both great on the lead and love long walks! Since Sox and Suki have been together forever it would be lovely to find a home for the both of them. However, Suki can also be adopted on her own.

While Suki adores her cuddles, she isn't too demanding about them and stays out of the way of other dogs who are more forward when it comes to asking for pets. She loves hunting for lizards – together with Sox, they spend hours searching around the fence of their enclosure for any sign of movement. Suki is definitely street smart – whenever it rains she knows to stay indoors and if another dog is in a grumpy mood, Suki is not messing with that. Generally, she gets respected as the leader of her pack though. Suki is a gentle soul who would add so much love to any home. 💛
